Tulip Fever 2017

Tulip Fever is a romantic drama from the director of The Other Boleyn Girl. His new film is based on the bestseller of Deborah Moggach. The story takes place in the medieval Netherlands. Poor orphan girl Sophia that lives in orphanage has no other way to get on in the world but marriage. She was lucky that Cornelis Sandvoort, well-to-do person likes her and wants her to be his wife. But everything changes when he hires an artist Jan Van Loos to make family portrait. Sophia and Jan fall in loves with each other and struggle to escape and be together. They decide to make some money by selling tulips during the tulip fever of that time.
