Their Finest is a historical drama of World War II. The main character of the romantic drama is a young ambitious woman director Catrin Cole. She brings together around herself a group of film-makers, and charges them with her boundless energy for creative feats in the glory of Britain.
There are the early 1940s. Britain is under dense pressure of the Nazi bombing, population are oppressed by the constant fear of death and the lack of success at the front. However, Catrin Cole with her like-minded persons intend to change this situation. Their Finest Hour and a Half will include a call for national pride and everyone’s unity for the sake of victory over Nazism.
