Film The Institute is a thriller by James Franco and Pamela Romanowsky, the plot of which is based on real events.
The actions of the film take place in Baltimore in the 19th century. The main character is a young pretty girl named Isabelle Porter. A terrible tragedy marred her life. Suddenly her parents died. The girl needs to distract from the sad thoughts and change her place of residence. As a result, she voluntarily goes to the Institute of Rosewood. However, she does not know that more pain and suffering waits for her onwards. Here she becomes the object of strange and cruel experiments in the field of personality changes, brainwashing and mind control.
