The Book of Love is a drama of two very different people. Each of them has his own trouble, but there is a common solution.
The main character of the drama is middle-aged man Henry, who is a successful architect. He is very meticulous, disciplined and constrained behavior, and now he suffers from the tragic death of his wife. Grief becomes an incentive for Henry to undo all his life rules and to open a new page in his biography. New Henry behaves sometimes very strange, so his friends very often wonder and worry for him. However, the man has nothing to lose after the death of his beloved wife, and he can give full freedom to his imagination.
He accidentally meets a young orphan cheeky tomboy Millie and decides to help the girl in the performance her most cherished dream. Namely, to build a raft and sail across the Atlantic to the Azores. Millie wants to escape from her evil uncle, who badly drawn with niece. The hero of the film The Book of Love sacrifice even his own home for the sake of his young ward. Henry disassembles the wall to get strong boards and boards for the raft. The widow decided at all costs to help the orphan to get rid of a brutal guardianship and go to meet the world and adventures.
