Salt and Fire 2016

Salt and Fire is a romantic disaster film.
UN sends a research group in South America, to study the geological formations of unknown origin. However, mercenaries kidnap geologists Laura and Fabio working for the mining corporation of odious businessman Matt Riley. He does not want to hurt the UN envoys, but simply wants to explain that the local environmental situation is not as it seems to them. It is even worse. Although, it will not be easy to understand.
As a result, the irresponsible drilling by this corporation and production of oil in South America become a cause of occurrence of super-volcano that threatens an environmental catastrophe, not only the region but also around the world.
Salt and Fire are ready to break out and swallow half the world. Opposite characters have to join forces and together to try to stop the catastrophe and save the planet. Besides the battle for the future of the world, the heroes will have romantic story against the backdrop of a global cataclysm.
