Neruda 2016

Neruda is Chilean biography drama movie. It focuses on the story that took place in the postwar Chile. Pablo Neruda is the well-known poet, but is also the most important communist in the world. At the begging of the Cold War he declares that government and President of Chile have betrayed the Communist Party. The President orders to find, arrest and humiliate Neruda. Now Pablo and his wife artist Delia del Carril are not allowed to leave the country. They are force to hide. Finding the inspiration in the developments of his life poet writes his famous Canto General poems. He becomes not only literary hero, but also the liberty symbol.
