Teenager named Morris with his father moved from America to a new country, where he is experiencing the usual problems of adaptation, getting used to a new environment, school, peers and simply to a new life. It sounds quite familiar, does not it? Just as long as the viewer does not realize that, the traditional story of teenage romance comedy Morris from America has a non-traditional twist. It happens in Heidelberg, Germany, where African-American 13-year-old boy Morris moved with his single father.
He is another, not only in appearance but also in his views. He listens to strange music and dreams to become a rapper. That is why he is very difficult to join the new team. His peers do not understand, and as a result mock him. However, one day Morris meets a wonderful girl named Katrin, and sympathy arises between them. Nevertheless, this is not happy end. Will Morris win the heart of his beloved? Will he fulfill his dream? Will he be among strangers?
