Film Max Rose is a family drama about old jazz pianist. He gave up his career for the sake of family happiness with his beloved wife named Eva. However, when Eva dies, Max learns shocking facts from the past. He finds troubling artifact among her things. It is an ancient compact with an intimate inscription from another man.
