Biographical drama I Am Michael is a true story of Michael Glatze, gay, journalist, political activist, a Christian pastor.
He has come a long way of self-identification and the search of his own “I”, which ended in the Christian church of Wyoming.
Michael Glatze was openly gay, was involved in various social and political events, did the journalist career in the magazine XY, was one of the most active and prominent members of the LGBT movement of San Francisco and all America. Then he had an epiphany. Once Michael woke up and realized that he spent all his life wrong and, in fact, he is not gay, but is not clear who.
I Am Michael, but who I am actually still have to learn – a hero has such idea. The man goes in search of his true “I”, which in the end will lead Glatze to the church. As a result, he will become the most famous homosexual in the world, who gave up his queer status and became married and happy Christian pastor.
