Growing Up Smith 2015

Growing Up Smith is family comedy drama movie. The film tells the story of Bhatnagar, one Indian family that moves to America. It happens at the end of 1970s. They crave for the well-known “American dream”. Their ten years old son Smith attends an ordinary secondary school where he falls madly in love with his classmate Amy, the American girl, which lives next door. While Smith’s parents struggle to make friends with Amy’s family, he tries to impress her with utmost effort. Trying to be the right guy Smith attempts to compliant with all of the American standards, but goes far away from the ideals of his family.
