Events sci-fi thriller Geostorm unfold in the near future.
One of the heroes is an engineer who is engaged in the development of satellites for monitoring and control of natural disasters. However, the device, coined to preventive action, becomes a source of threat eventually. This is the central idea for the action film Geostorm. The mission of Satellite was to observe the Earth and send information about impending disasters. However, it mysteriously starts a mechanism, which is capable of organizing the worst storm in the history of the planet. The inventor goes into space to try to disable his creation urgently. His remaining on the Earth brother reveals a global espionage conspiracy to assassinate the President. Moreover, Geostorm is only a link in the chain of upcoming events. To save the President and avoid the devastating disaster is an agenda for the main characters. However, it would be incredibly difficult to fulfill even one of the items.
