CHiPs is comedy crime action movie. The two-hander plot is based on the same name TV series of 1970s. It was popular movie in its time, going on the screens from 1977 till 1983. The plot focuses on two colleagues and friends Jon Baker and Francis Poncherello. They are motorcycle officers of California Highway Patrol. Every day they patrol Los Angeles in pair. Usually motorcycle officers do not patrol pairwise, but Francis is trouble-prone and Jon is his training mate. Their work is centered on the car thieves catching and the drifter and speeders stopping. Sometimes they have to investigate crimes without any help.
