Burn Your Maps 2016

Burn Your Maps is an adventure tragicomedy about an extraordinary American boy named Wes. The boy is fascinated by Mongolia. He enthusiastically looks at pictures of Mongolian landscapes, improvised builds yurts and makes figures of goats. Once Wes says that he was born in the wrong place. His real homeland is Mongolia and his purpose is grazing goats. Such a statement shocked his parents Alise and Connor. Moreover, it soon becomes clear that he bundles and goes to the East, where supposedly should be.
By accident, Alise meets a Hindu named Ismail. He is also convinced that he is not in his place. Ismail meets with Wes, takes him to the camera and launches online campaign to raise funds for the trip to Mongolia. Boy’s reasoning about the lost homeland touch many people, and soon, the dream of the main hero of the movie Burn Your Maps becomes a reality.
