Almost Christmas 2016

Almost Christmas is one of the most beloved American genres, Christmas family comedy. The plot of such films is unchanged. The family is going through another crisis, everybody curse and suffer. However, they forget about their troubles and misfortunes, forgive each other all the resentment and frustration, again turning into a friendly happy family on Thanksgiving Day.
Walter Meyers lived a long life; he saw the birth of children and grandchildren. Would not it be true to say that many of his relatives have great sympathy for each other. Rather, it is quite the contrary. But Walter is already old, lost his wife and is not sure that he will live for a long time. Therefore, the family head asks his relatives to gather under one roof and try to spend five days together; they must take care not kill or maim any Meyers. Can you? – Walter asks. Let’s see – the family answers.
Of course, the kinsfolk does not keep his word and a lot of conflict and even a gun will be at some point. And Walter Meyers pronounces his iconic phrase, “I’m too old for this …” …
