Ali and Nino 2016

Events of romance drama Ali and Nino take place at Azerbaijan in the period of 1918-1920. Our protagonists Ali Khan Shirvanshir and beauty Nino Kipiani live in the beautiful and peaceful Baku. He is the son of wealthy Muslim Azerbaijanis, who live on the harsh and even despotic laws of their environment. She is the daughter of the Georgian princes who profess Catholicism and live in a more liberal world. They are such diverse but they meet and fall in love madly. Despite the opposition of parents who set strongly against the relationship of their own children, they still find opportunity to marry. However, this is only the beginning of a difficult and dramatic story, where will be tears of pain and joy, despair and happiness, love and hate.
Because the First World War starts, in which Russia is involved – and, therefore, Azerbaijan. Then the October revolution takes place in the country and civil war unfolds… It turns out that different religions of characters in the film Ali and Nino are not the most important test for their feelings.
